BETHANY LINEGLIDER RACES

The races were held in December and completed in January.  There was great participation and if you were in the building during any of the heats, you surely heard the cheering.  This was the first lineglider activity for Bethany but judging from the boys reactions, it will not be the last.

FEBRUARY NEWS

 Our mission project for the month of February will be to collect sleeping bags and two man tents for the homeless.  

·       Saturday February 6th we will have our Pinewood Derby Shop. We plan to get started at 8:00 a.m. and wrap things up around noon. We will have a breakfast. The shop will give those who wish an opportunity to cut, shape, sand, paint, and weigh their cars. There will be saws, drills, sand paper, paint, and weight provided. We also encourage a parent or family member to accompany the boys, but it is not necessary. 

 ·       Saturday February 27th we will have our Pinewood Derby Race. It also will begin at 8:00a.m. and should finish up around noon. The amount of time it takes will depend on how many will participate and how quickly we get everyone checked in. Any church member will be eligible to participate. We plan to start racing no later than 9:00a.m. If you are not checked in by the time the race begins you will not be able to race. The time will be subject to change due to check-in.   

·       We will not have R.A.s during the winter break.
