LOVE LOUD HENRY

“Love Loud Henry” is an act of kindness project by the faith community in Henry County to say in a very demonstrative way to our community, “God loves you and we do too!”

 

Bethany Baptist has a partnership with the Cambrian Heights Baptist Church in Calgary Alberta Canada. This past summer Bethany sent a team to Cambrian Heights to help build an expansion to their church. There we met and worked with members of Canadian Baptist Builders who were leading the project.

The vision for this effort was birthed in my heart (Pastor Al) while partnering in ministry with the Canadian Baptist Builders. It was through this connection that the Baptist Builders wanted to come to McDonough and give something back to our community since we had assisted them in their work in Calgary.

 

The original plan was for the folks at Bethany and the folks from Canada to do the “Love Loud Henry” projects set up for us by Mr. Blake Turner. It has now become a project with involvement from the faith and civic community in Henry County.

 

There is now a need for resources to help with feeding, cover the cost for supplies for additional home repairs, and people to deliver meals to job sites.

 

There will be 15 work projects for our team from Canada but the opportunity to do more will rest upon the financial and physical support of the community. Bethany has committed to cover the cost for the work done by the Baptist Builders from Canada.

 

There is the potential to do as many as 40 work projects in Henry County; but, it will require a vested financial investment by other churches and the civic community.
